HONOUR DR. COOKE

Museum Board Member J. McCullough and
Wood Carver Dennis Sinclair pose with his life size carving of
the World Record Speckled Trout,
Nipigon Historical Museum
June 7, 2014

Lake Helen Drummers
We are here to honor Dr. Cooke on the 99th anniversary year
for holding the title to the largest speckled trout ever caught,
and to honor the local Indians who guided him to his prize.

Our Drum Group is connected in one way or another to the Guides
 and history of this fish.

One of them being Andrew Lexie, Norma's Grandfather;
and
Lawrence Martin Sr., Susan's Great Uncle.

In this first song, we are asking the Holy Creator to come in.

We will then call in the Four Grandfathers from the four directions to enter.

The Blue highlights are not mine.

Dear Readers please be informed that the blue highlighted words are not of my doing.

I AM FINDING THEM ON SOME OF MY EARLIER POSTS.
THEY MAKE NO SENSE BUT SOMEONE IS USING THEM AS ADVERTISING.

Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of them?
